No Justice for Women in Canada’s Prisons | Senator Kim Pate

Senator Kim Pate earned her law degree at Dalhousie in 1984. She is the former executive director of the Canadian Association of Elizabeth Fry Societies, a position she held for 25 years. A Member of the Order of Canada and the recipient of five honorary degrees, Senator Pate has been recognized for her extraordinary advocacy work on behalf of women and girls who have been criminalized or incarcerated.
